The Whynter UIM-502SS / UIM-502SSa Stainless Steel Built-In Ice Maker complements any modern kitchen and bar area making 80 lbs of clear ice cubes in 24 hours and can store 25 lbs of ice. The stainless steel housing also ensures that you won’t get any smudges or prints on the ice maker, all the while keeping the unit safe from normal wear and tear.

CLEAR ICE CUBES
Minerals and deposits are removed by the water recirculation system and deposited in the water trough. Clear ice cubes are produced when clean water freezes to the ice grid and cascades down onto the ice tray from the distribution tube. In addition, fresh water is continuously pumped into the trough and circulated to produce clear cubes of the desired thickness and a steady stream of clean water.

INLINE WATER FILTER
This Whynter UIM-502SS comes with an inline water filter that is certified to NSF standards. With the NSF certification mark, this means that this water filter has been tested for safety to help protect you and your family. This filter ensures that it can remove chlorine and will not leach contaminants into your drinking water.

Freight-Line delivery

This is a standard Freight-Line delivery with curbside service. Freight line items will be delivered to the front of your home or business. If you require inside delivery please choose White Glove Delivery (if available). All freight line deliveries require a signature and will occur on weekdays during business hours. The freight carrier will call to schedule a delivery appointment. Storage fees can occur if the freight carrier is not able to schedule the delivery appointment or when a shipment is originally scheduled to be delivered on a certain date but cannot be delivered on that date and the freight must be stored.
** We work with multiple carriers to provide the lowest cost shipping options to our retailers but sometimes shipping costs may be more than than the flat rate listed in the pricing spreadsheet due to the delivery location (such as rural areas or restricted access areas). 

Inspecting the Shipment When It Arrives

For Freight line and White Glove deliveries, we ask that you inspect the product thoroughly upon arrival. We recommend that you verify the following items before signing the bill of landing. If the unit is damaged, we ask that you take pictures, refuse the shipment or notate the damage on the packing slip and contact our customer service team immediately.
